New Balance updates the Lav to version 2. The shoe incorporates an updated version of Fresh Foam, Fresh Foam X, which provides the midsole with greater rebound and improved stability, New Balance reconstructed the shoe upper with FITWEAVE material, a carryover from NB's running category. The shoe also skirts the bootie construction of its predecessor with a more traditional tongue. V2 again features an External Heel Counter, but it rises higher than the previous version for greater stability and support. The ankle collar comes up a little higher for a more locked-in fit. All in all, the Lav v2 is easier to get on and off, more stable, and more cushioned than the original.Upper: The FITWEAVE construction is highly versatile and amplifies strength and support without compromising flexibility. This version doesn't feature a full bootie construction, and it has a traditional tongue for easier on and off. NDure technology makes use of NB PU for enhanced durability.
